Horizon Christian School (HCS) is a non-denominational, Biblically based Christian School that strives for academic excellence. Our Christ-centered education helps students build and defend a Christian worldview and develops an attitude of lifetime service to Jesus Christ. It is the work of Horizon Christian School to provide an educational framework which equips our students to acquire the skills necessary to pursue God’s calling in their lives.

Who Should Apply

Admissions criteria have been established for those students considering applying to Horizon Christian School. These criteria are based on the desire of the school to have students who are teachable and desire to use the gifts and skills God has given them for His glory. We want to train and equip our students to go into the world and make a difference for eternity. Please review the Admissions Criteria as you consider Horizon Christian School for your student.

When to Apply

Horizon Christian School encourages families to begin the application process in November or December of the current school year for the following year. Enrollment will not be considered until all of the required steps are complete and required supplemental information is received.

Please review these steps carefully

The first step: Please send the responses to the following questions to jkimble@hcsindy.org (click the link)

Your students' date of birth?

Does your student(s) have a 504 or IEP education plan?

What grade are you looking to enroll in?

The second step: We need to review your students' most recent standardized test scores (It's important to be sure that we can serve your family well).  Can you please send those to this email? Jkimble@hcsindy.org

It will move much faster  if you can send those directly to the email above.

A Records Request  will need to be sent to the school your student(s) attended last year should you decide to transfer.

Please provide me with the direct name and email of the person I should send an official Records Request to.

If you are coming from Homeschooling or Montessori and you do not have any standardized test scores from the current school year you will have  to sign up for a two-part Admission Assessment. You will need to sign up for two days. The first is the math assessment and the second is the ELA assessment.
